A-1 HVAC’s Ugly Furnace Contest Rules

Think your furnace is an eyesore? You might be looking at a winner! A-1 HVAC is on the hunt for the ugliest, most worn-out furnace out there. Snap a photo, show it off, and you could score a $2,000 credit towards a new furnace or much-needed repairs!

Here’s how to enter and all the details:

How to Enter:

1. Snap a photo of your beastly old furnace.
2. Post it to your Facebook feed with the hashtag #UglyFurnaceContest.
3. Tag us @A1HVACKC in your post so we don’t miss it!
4. Be sure your post is public so we can review your entry.

Contest Period:

The contest runs from November 15th to January 15th. Get your entry in before time runs out!

Judging:

Our team will select the ugliest furnace based on overall “character” and condition. The winner will be announced via Facebook on January 31st, 2025.

Prizes:

• Grand Prize: $2,000 credit toward a new furnace purchased from A-1 HVAC or repairs performed by A-1 HVAC.
• All Entrants: A $500 discount on a new furnace, air conditioner, full HVAC system, or mini-split installation. Every entrant is a winner in their own right!

Contest Requirements:

• Must be a resident in the greater Kansas City area.
• Must own the furnace in your home, and the home must be owner occupied.
• Must be at least 18 years old to enter.
• This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
• By entering, you give A-1 HVAC permission to share your post for contest promotion purposes.
• Cash value of this prize is $.01 USD.

If the grand prize winner purchases a system before the announcement on 1/31/25, they we be refunded $2000 from their paid installation.

$500 coupons must be presented at the time of the quote for a new system and do no apply to previously installed systems.
